I bought glasses from a seller for $85 plus $19 shipping, and the total came to $133?

I understand VAT, but from $85 it comes to 19.55, which gives a total of 104.55 plus $19 shipping = $123.55

Does anyone know what the rest is for, so about $10 ????????

They calculate VAT from the amount paid, meaning from $104. That gives, admittedly, $127.92 but maybe the seller added something for handling? It should appear on the statement.

The tax is calculated from the total of the price and shipping.

Ok, but what is the rest of the roughly $5 for. I paid just under 134 in total.
