·3 years agoVAT will be collected by Ebay at the time of purchase.
However, at the border they may charge VAT again. If that happens, you need to contact Ebay for a refund of the VAT charged by Ebay. Log in to Ebay and send them, via the link below, proof of the VAT charged, explaining which auction it was for:

At the border they may also charge customs duties at the current rates. Purchases up to 150 Euro (or something around that) are exempt from customs duty.
