We’re updating our Payment Terms of Service
Summary: A participant announced an update to their Payment Service Terms.
As eBay, we make every effort to ensure our policies are clear and our services easy to use. We want to let you know that, effective September 23, 2024, we are updating our Payment Services Terms. We are making changes to the Payment Services Terms to better describe the payment services we offer you. As part of these changes, we have clarified the clause regarding seller onboarding (registration) to increase transparency, and in the section on Using the Payment Services we have specified which eBay company is the provider of seller protection. In addition, we have improved and clarified the provisions of Part III, point 7, with respect to invoice-based payment methods, installment payments, and direct debit, without changing the rules themselves.
If you agree to the changes, you do not need to take any action. If, as a consumer, you do not agree with the proposed changes, you may reject them at any time before September 23, 2024 by notifying us in writing (e.g. by email) or by terminating the payment processing agreement free of charge and without notice. You can do this, for example, by sending an email or contacting our Customer Support. Otherwise, we will consider that you have given your consent to the changes being made.
Thank you for using eBay.
