the order didn't go through

A moment ago I was buying something on eBay; after clicking pay, it took quite a long time, but eventually the message appeared: "thank you for your purchase". The item is marked as paid, however... the money has not been charged from my PayPal account.
After clicking on the order details, I have an order number: order being processed by PayPal.
And the information:
This order did not go through. The order costs were not included in the total amount.
What is wrong?
I don’t have the option to: retry payment. The item has been bought. I can’t repeat the purchase, because I’ll buy a second item...
What should I do in this situation?
Now this message appeared: Your payment is pending completion. / Payment processing is in progress.
Is PayPal having some problems?

OP6 years agoLooks like it was a problem either with eBay or PayPal. The next day, the payment had already been taken from the PayPal account.

·3 years agoI bought an item on eBay through Klatna. I chose the instant transfer option (Polish account), went through everything step by step, and at the end a message popped up saying there was a problem with the transfer and the purchase didn’t go through BUT THE MONEY DISAPPEARED FROM THE ACCOUNT
