Using my business account on eBay, I bought an item from a seller in the USA who ships goods via eBay International Shipping (EIS). In EIS, it says that eBay handles all formalities, including customs documentation....
In order to book the VAT and be able to resell the item through my business, I need to obtain the SAD customs document after customs clearance has taken place. Under normal circumstances (shipment not via EIS), I receive information from the customs office that the parcel is at the customs clearance stage and I use the help of a customs agent who, after preparing the appropriate documentation, sends me this customs document (SAD).
How can I obtain the SAD document if eBay is handling the whole process?
