Depositing euros into PayPal without currency conversion, is it possible?
Summary: Naohia asks whether it’s possible to deposit euros into PayPal without currency conversion. redtankminiatures is also interested in this topic, though they don’t add any additional information or solutions.
Probably it’s been asked before, but I can’t find a similar topic. I have an euro account at mBank, I set Euro as the primary currency in PayPal, I make a transfer in euro to PayPal, and it automatically converts it to złoty, at its own exchange rates. So I wanted to pay for purchases on eBay at fair exchange rates, but now I’ll pay twice for currency conversion, from Euro to PLN and then again from PLN to Euro. Is there any way to deposit euro and receive euro? Or is there a way to pay without currency conversion +4% compared to the market rate.
Please reply, or send a link to a similar topic, thank you.

·6 months agoUnfortunately, you can’t do that; it automatically converts the currency. I have a different problem. It’s been working fine for 10 years, and then suddenly a few days ago the payment to my account was reversed and they took 30 PLN because supposedly "Incorrect bank account information" — yeah, 10 years and then this. I went to the bank and called PP, but the support there is in English on a Warsaw phone number. The bank account got removed and I couldn’t set the same one again. So they helped here and overwrote the same details, and once again the same screw-up. What a disaster. Tomorrow it’s another battle with windmills.
