selling abroad and immediate payout to my Polish account - why?
Summary: No discussion content to summarize.
hi, I sold something abroad and the buyer paid for it. I’d like to know why the money (300 euros) was converted and sent to my Polish bank account instead of staying on the account (I just don’t know which one, eBay? PayPal?), because I’ll probably buy something abroad soon and lose money again on currency conversion when I want to pay for the purchase. How do I make sure the money isn’t sent to my Polish bank account but instead waits in some account so I can use it in buying/selling transactions without having to lose money on currency conversion every time?

·1 year agoYou can't use the money in your eBay account for purchases. EBay pays it out to your bank account automatically according to the schedule you set: daily or monthly.

OP1 year agoThanks for the answer, so banks must make money off sellers. Back then, money could sit in a PayPal account and you could use it when making purchases.
And is it possible, for example, to add a foreign currency account number (e.g. an EUR account held at a Polish bank) so that the currency from selling items would be deposited into the account?
