Hello. For the past few days I’ve been struggling to pay for a product on eBay. I tried with a card and Google Pay, but to no avail. The message pops up: "Check your payment details or choose another payment method". The funds are taken from my account and then after a moment they’re returned. I called the bank to ask why I couldn’t pay, and it turned out that the bank is blocking this transaction to protect against unauthorized charges in the future. The consultant asked whether I still wanted to pay despite that. I said yes, and was told that the transaction should be unblocked within 2 business days. Today I asked the consultant whether the transaction had been unblocked, since it’s still being declined for me. I got the answer that it had, but the problem is no longer on the bank’s side, it seems like eBay is rejecting the payment. And now I don’t know what to do. I wrote to eBay customer support and I’m waiting. I’ll add that I paid for another item on eBay from a different user and there was no problem. Has anyone had a similar issue? If anything, I have an account with Pekao and the card is a Mastercard Debit FX. I have sufficient funds in the account and the payment limit has been increased, so that’s not it. I don’t want to mess around with PayPal, because their exchange rate is not worth it. I also tried on ebay.com and with no success. I mean this product.
