How much extra will I have to pay for shipping from China?
Summary: mat_1715 asks about the additional shipping cost for a shipment from China, but does not receive any further information or reply from guangxi_hone.
I’m planning to buy a certain collectible card (it’s a Pokemon card) that’s worth around $250, and that’s probably about how much I’ll have to pay for it. It was sold in China, so I’ll be buying it from someone in China too. How much could the total cost of buying such a card come to? For example, if I buy it for $200, will I have to pay 23% VAT on that amount plus shipping costs and some additional customs fees? Is there any option that I won’t have to pay that VAT, because honestly with an amount like that, the VAT is quite a lot. Thanks in advance for the answer.

·2 years agoDuring checkout, eBay will show how much the border fees will be. So they’ll add, I guess, VAT. If you then decide the fee is too high, you can cancel the transaction with no consequences.
