"The buyer used third-party freight forwarding or mail redirection – Not covered." Does the customer have the right to an eBay refund (item damaged in transit) if they independently forwarded the shipment through a freight company from Germany to Argentina? I sent the package to the German address provided on eBay.

Hello, I bought a Garmin navigation device on Ebay from Germany, and after I had already made the payment the seller wants me to pay an extra 5% of the purchase amount for an international transaction. Is this in line with the regulations, since the purchase took place in European Union countries? Hello, I bought a Garmin navigation system from Germany on eBay. I bought a laptop and I was charged. Items: 1 US $1,080.00 Shipping US $61.79 VAT* US $279.68 Duty US $74.22 Did I have to pay duty? Are these charges already paid and I won't have to pay anything in Poland?

Refund of customs duty and VAT after returning goods
Hello, I purchased goods from Japan. The goods were delivered via DHL Express, which charged customs duties and VAT and sent me a link for payment. The dues were paid by me, but unfortunately, the goods turned out to be not as expected and a return was filed. The seller sent a shipping label for the return shipment. The return was sent and delivered to the seller. The full amount paid for the goods was refunded. And now my question - is there any way to independently demand a refund of the customs duties and VAT? The courier company generally makes it difficult and wants a fee of about 360 PLN for the service, and it is not certain that the customs duties and VAT paid will be refunded. Apparently, the goods returning to the seller did not undergo customs clearance and there are no documents that would be the basis for a refund of the customs duties. Has anyone applied for a customs refund from the office themselves and can help in this situation? Thank you in advance for your help!

hello, I'm buying an item on eBay for the first time, I thought I'd pay on delivery, but that's impossible because the seller is from Germany and I live in Poland, they’re telling me to pay through PayPal, I'm afraid that if I pay like that the money will just vanish somewhere and I won't get it back, I've just heard and read about such cases, and it's not a small amount for me.
