We recently received reports about a phishing campaign that abuses the Team Access invitation feature on eBay. These messages are sent from eBay’s official sender address, which makes them seem especially trustworthy. The invitation contains a link leading to an external website where users are asked to provide personal data. Remember the following rules: Do not provide personal or banking details through links contained in such emails. If you receive a suspicious email, forward it as an attachment to: ○ spoof@ebay.de (re. eBay Germany) ○ spoof@ebay.com (other countries) eBay accounts that have so far been identified as being used to send Team Access invitations have already been suspended.
