Losing an ID card
I lost my ID card a week ago and different people are telling me different things. One friend says to report the document as lost, another says it doesn't do anything because anyone can find it and forge the signature. How does it really work, and does reporting it as lost actually help with anything?

An honest institution that checks the document in the system will refuse to conclude an agreement on a reported document. This is not one hundred percent protection because not every company checks the system and there are dishonest lenders, but it significantly reduces the risk. This is one layer of protection alongside filing a police report, getting a new document, and monitoring BIK. Report your document here and don’t wait: https://zastrzegam.pl/
