Screws when assembling warehouse shelves
I'm looking for sturdy screws for mounting heavy warehouse shelving in the hall. The shelves will be heavily loaded, so I'm looking for something really durable that can withstand the pressure and won't wear out after a few months. Does anyone have experience with specific types or manufacturers?

·1 year agoWhen I was putting together shelves in the hall, I used classic metal screws, but only on my second try did I come across ones that actually held up. It’s worth paying attention to make sure they have the right thread and length, because short ones can give way under pressure. Material hardness matters too — if you get some that are too soft, the tip strips and you’re left with a screw you can’t get out. In the end I ordered a few different types to test, and picked the countersunk-head ones – they fit together nicely.
