Drive plates for a lathe
I have a lathe with a D1-4 spindle and I want to mount a chuck from another manufacturer with an A2-5 flange. I’m looking for an intermediate adapter plate. Is the drive plate always matched to a specific spindle mount and chuck type pair, or is there some standardization that makes this simpler?
