Team development
I'm looking for some kind of solution that will help me better plan the team's development. We have about 50 people and it's hard for me to keep track of who has potential for what and who to move where. Maybe someone has experience with some HR tools that help with this?

·10 months agoThe most important thing is to have a system that collects information about each employee’s skills, experience, and aspirations in one place. Manually figuring out who could replace whom in the event of a promotion or departure is a nightmare if you’re doing it in Excel. It’s good when the tool suggests your skill gaps and shows who is ready for the next level and who still needs development. Succession planning sounds like a topic for corporations, but it’s actually useful in every company, because you never know when a key person will suddenly leave. A system that analyzes the data on its own and draws conclusions saves a ton of time that you can spend talking to people instead of digging through spreadsheets. AI in HR sounds futuristic, but it can actually help catch things a person might miss when looking at raw data. Recently I saw a pretty interesting approach to this topic here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VjLczxczadU where they show how it can work in practice and what specific decisions such a tool can support; maybe that will give you some direction on what to look for.
