Task rotation and team motivation
Do you think it’s worth training production workers in different tasks, or is it better to stick to the rule that everyone does one thing, but perfectly? On my shift there are quite a few young people, and I can see that the routine wears them down after a few months, which leads to mistakes and a drop in concentration. I was thinking about introducing rotation so that everyone knows at least three stages of the process, but the more senior employees say it’s just unnecessary chaos.
