pellet or heat pump in the house design
What’s better to put as the heating source in a house design? The architect has been pestering me already. Heat pump or pellet?
I’m considering a heat pump, but I don’t know if it isn’t not very cost-effective

·1 year agoIf you switch to pellets and then change to a heat pump during construction, that will be a minor change. The reverse switch from a heat pump to pellets will already be a significant change and will require a revised design and a new building permit. Don’t believe this nonsense that a heat pump isn’t worth it — it is, and very much so. You don’t have to mess around lugging bags and cleaning the stove.
