Opening your own online store
I'm planning to launch an online store, but I have no idea where to start. What's really crucial so the store works and people actually want to buy from me? My budget is limited, so I want to focus on what's most important.

·10 months agoThe most important thing is a good product presentation - the photos must be high quality, ideally several from different angles and with the option to zoom in. Product descriptions can’t be copied from the manufacturer; they have to genuinely answer customers’ questions and include what they’re looking for. The payment system should be simple and secure, support different methods because everyone has their preferences - cards, BLIK, transfers, maybe PayPal. The cart and checkout process must be as simplified as possible; the fewer steps, the better, without forcing people to create an account before their first purchase. Show shipping costs and delivery time right away, clearly, because people look for that and if they don’t find it, they’ll go to the competition. A customer panel where you can track an order and order history is now standard and can’t be left out. Contact has to be easy to access - ideally chat, phone, and email, because customers have questions and want quick answers. SSL and security certificates are absolutely essential; without them, no sensible person will leave their card details. I once came across a useful resource https://darlowo.info/index.php/7172-co-powinien-zawierac-sklep-internetowy where all of this was laid out, so maybe it’ll help you plan what you really need from the start.
