Hi! I wanted to ask whether it's worth going for a private appointment with an orthopedist, or is it better to wait for the NFZ? Lately I've been feeling back pain, sometimes in my knees, and sometimes I have the feeling that something is off with my joints. I spend a lot of time at the computer at work and I think it has an impact on my health. I'm afraid I might damage something more serious. What experiences do you have with orthopedists? ·1 year agoWell, I had a similar problem with my back and in the end I went private, because I waited a long time for the NFZ and didn’t want to suffer any longer. The orthopedist examined me right away, ordered a few things to be done, and everything got sorted out faster. I think that if you don’t have time to wait, it’s worth going private, especially if the problem doesn’t go away, because otherwise you just get frustrated. I waited for the NFZ for over 3 months, and at a private clinic I was seen the next day.
