Dust extraction for a small woodworking shop. What works?
I run a small carpentry shop, 3 people in the workshop, we do most things on site – cutting, milling, sometimes CNC. Sawdust and dust are already a nightmare, because after just a few hours everything is basically covered in a layer of dust. I'm looking for some concrete solution that can handle dust extraction, but won't blow the budget for the rest of the month. Do you have anything tried and tested?

·1 year agoFor me the issue looked exactly the same, dust everywhere, and people were complaining that it was unbearable. At first I messed around with some industrial vacuums, but that was a dead end. After a while I got a proper extraction system that handles several workstations and it was immediately a whole different quality of work, seriously. Not only is it clean, but things also break down less from the dust. If you're looking for something specific, check here: https://www.lazzuri.pl/produkty/odciagi-trocin/ – I was browsing this site myself, they have different options, you can choose something to fit the size of the plant. The most important thing is that the equipment runs stably and you don't have to keep messing around with it all the time. It does need a bit of space, of course, but if you have somewhere to put it, it's worth it.
