360-degree review in the company and the atmosphere
I'm wondering whether introducing 360-degree feedback is really a good idea. I have a feeling it might crank up the tension between people a bit, since it's still mutual evaluation, and not everyone handles criticism well. It could happen that someone feels offended or starts getting even at the next opportunity. What is it like in practice? What experience do you have?

·1 year agoIt’s true that if people aren’t prepared for it, tensions can arise. A 360-degree review requires proper introduction, because if someone only hears “we’re all going to evaluate each other,” they may get stressed. It’s important to emphasize that it’s about development and improving collaboration, not pointing out mistakes. It’s also important that the manager handles this process well, instead of just dropping in a survey and waiting for the results. If you approach it sensibly, it can really help the company, because people start to understand how their behavior affects others. Here’s an article that explains it nicely: https://radiolodz.pl/w-jaki-sposob-ocena-360-stopni-buduje-zaangazowanie-w-zespole,471094
