·1 year agoMy son is 14 and has had AD since birth. We’ve had different phases, but because of puberty it’s been bad for quite a while. And after so many years I’ve worked out a system where we’re managing without steroids now. Every 2 days a bath with Dead Sea salt added, emollients of course every day as needed - right now we use A-Derma plus a cleansing oil. Food - we avoid processed, chemical stuff, and when I can I choose organic, though not obsessively, like everything has to be organic. For supplements: AEDK, omega acids from Eqology, a postbiotic from Kogen, colostrum and black seed oil. And I can see that this is what gives results for us. And if something shows up on the hands, it’s this Chinese ointment for eczema (supposedly steroid-free, at least there aren’t any in the ingredients, though I take that with a grain of salt because everything disappears so quickly after it).
