What kind of soil should kamchatka berry be planted in?

·1 year agoNo, it won’t grow well in acidic soil – so you need to make room and plant something acid-loving there, e.g. blueberries. Honeyberry has different requirements, it’s more like a strawberry and likes a pH around 6. I have my berry planted in ordinary native soil, only slightly enriched with manure, and that’s completely enough. There’s no point messing around with acidic peat, because the result will be the opposite of what you want. During the season I water the bushes 2–3 times with CarboHort’s carbohumic product, and they really grow nicely. This plant is pretty easygoing and doesn’t need very specialized treatments, it’s just important that the soil isn’t too acidic.
