Lady at the store
We have counters with glass covers for cheeses and deli products, and the covers are old and scratched, which spoils the look of the display. How do you choose new glass covers for the existing counters so they fit dimensionally, and what should you check when ordering?

·4 days agoWhen replacing glass covers for existing counters, taking measurements is absolutely essential before you order anything, because counters from different manufacturers have different opening dimensions and standard covers often don’t fit. The dimensions you need are the width of the opening, the depth, the angle of inclination if the cover is slanted, and the mounting type, whether it sits in a recess or rests on the edges. For glass in refrigerated counters, tempered glass is usually used because it is safer if it should crack and more impact-resistant than regular glass.
