Refrigeration doors and operating costs
I manage several stores and want to convince my partners to replace open shelves with ones with doors. The question is, has anyone here calculated how much energy you can realistically save by switching to closed refrigerated cases with doors?

·1 year agoFor me, after modernizing the shelving and installing doors, energy consumption in a specific area dropped by 30%. On top of that, there’s less moisture in the store, so fewer problems with condensation and mold. After half a year, the investment started to pay off. You can check out which systems are available here: https://aifoglassdoors.com/pl/ – they have options with low-emissivity glass and a system that closes tightly.
