Choosing plants for an apartment
I have a north-facing window and every plant turns yellow on me. I want something that will survive in a dimly lit living room and won’t require constant attention. Do you have any tried-and-true recommendations?

·4 months agoThe north-facing window is a tough subject, but there are a few plants that really look great in those conditions. Aglaonema is my absolute favorite, with beautiful patterned leaves and it handles low light better than anything else. Spathiphyllum blooms even without sun and cleans the air. Aspidistra is boring by name but indestructible, and in low light that's its element. Definitely avoid succulents and cacti near a north-facing window, because they just won't survive there no matter how well you care for them. On https://dom-roslin.pl/ they have plants sorted by requirements, and it's easy to find something for a darker room.
