Does excluding meat from your diet help with scalp psoriasis?
The dermatologist recommended that I limit meat and highly processed foods because of scalp psoriasis. However, online I come across different opinions — some say a meat-based diet helps them, others say the opposite. What have your experiences been with cutting out meat or increasing it for psoriasis?

·1 year agoHonestly, I can’t imagine not eating meat — it’s the main source of protein and energy for the body. Everyone, however, reacts differently, so it’s best to observe your own body and check what harms you and what helps.

·1 year agoFor me, it works the other way around — eating just meat, eggs, and animal fat practically completely calmed down my psoriasis. In addition, I use Psorisel shampoo and lotion to take care of my scalp — they really soothe irritation. You can find the set here:

·1 year agoI eat everything except meat 🙂 My doctor advised me to limit it and avoid processed foods, such as chips or cookies. I also use Psorisel on my scalp, and it really helps me relieve itching and flaking, but for me the biggest difference is made by my diet.
