Can vitamin B12 worsen rosacea symptoms?
Hi,
lately I came across information that a high level of vitamin B12 can worsen skin condition with rosacea. Has anyone here experienced that? Is it really worth testing this if the redness is getting worse?

·10 months agoYes, vitamin B12 can cause redness, especially at higher concentrations – my skin was literally like after a burn, as if I'd come out of a tanning bed. Back then I still didn't know it could be linked to supplementation. The dermatologist suggested tests and sure enough – the B12 level was above normal. Since then I've been much more careful about everything I take, not just cosmetics. For skincare I stick with the Acnerose line – thanks to that, my skin is calm and no longer reacts so violently.

·10 months agoThat’s exactly how it was for me. I got tests done and it turned out my vitamin B12 level was way above normal. On top of that, I was going through a really stressful period and everything piled up – my skin started looking worse and worse, the redness persisted, and my face was super reactive. After stopping the supplement and calming my lifestyle down a bit, it was already better. For skincare, I stuck with the simplest, tried-and-true products – the Acnerose liquid turned out to be safe and didn’t make anything worse.
