Does laser help with rosacea?
Hi,
a dermatologist suggested laser treatment for my rosacea (I mainly have redness, sometimes papules), but I'm a bit afraid it might make things worse. Has anyone here had laser treatment and seen real improvement? Or is it better to focus on skincare and diet?

·11 months agoStatistically speaking, laser gives very short-lived results for rosacea. That’s exactly why clinics recommend it so eagerly – because it has to be repeated regularly, and that means the client stays for a long time. Unfortunately, there is always a risk that it will only make things worse. I gave up on such treatments myself and focus on skincare, active ingredients, sun protection, and avoiding triggers. I’m using Acnerose cosmetics and I really do see a difference – my skin gets red less often, reacts less violently, and the redness is more under control.

·11 months agoThe laser only made things worse for me, and irreversibly at that – unfortunately my skin became even more reactive, and the redness became permanent. It was a mistake I regret. Now I stick only to gentle skincare, sunscreen, and figuring out what triggers my flare-ups. The Acnerose liquid worked best for me – really mild, soothes the skin, and helps keep it under control, especially during flare-ups.
