Has anyone sent their child to a survival camp?
My daughter (10 years old) increasingly often says she’d like to try something more “wild” — survival, the woods, making a campfire, etc. I’m thinking about a camp like that, but I’m a bit hesitant — isn’t it too early, and can kids that age handle it? Maybe someone has experience?

·1 year agoMy son was at such a camp a year ago, and honestly – I was scared at first too. He’s 10 as well, and it was his first trip away from family. But he remembers it really well. If you want, take a look here: https://fabryka-przygody.com/obozy/ – there are different sessions and age groups, so you can choose something lighter to start with. What’s nice is that the kids don’t just sit around the campfire, but learn practical things – how to behave in the forest, how to work together in a group, build a shelter, etc. And it’s all under adult supervision, with 24/7 care. What convinced me was that you don’t need any prior experience, because they explain everything. After coming back, my kid was totally hyped about the whole thing and is already asking if he’ll go again.
