Does Dermovate help with scalp psoriasis?

I got Dermovate ointment from the dermatologist today for scalp psoriasis. I've never used it before, so I'm a bit hesitant. Has anyone here had experience with it? Does it help, or is it more of a waste of time?

·9 months agoDermovate completely didn’t work for me. I used it for a few weeks and there was no improvement at all. Only when I stopped using steroids and focused on regular skincare did things start to calm down. Everyone’s body reacts differently, but I’m probably not going back to it.

·9 months agoA co powiecie o Dermovate? Ja też dziś dostałam od dermatologa, ale trochę się boję, bo to jednak silny steryd. Czy stosować go codziennie, czy raczej rzadziej? Do pielęgnacji poza leczeniem używam szamponu Psorisel, żeby trochę odciążyć skórę – jest delikatny, a dobrze myje. Tutaj znalazłam ten, którego używam:

·10 months agoI’d recommend a trichological scalp scrub first for cleansing the scalp – it prepares it perfectly for treatment, removes scales, and improves medication absorption. That’s what I do and I see a big difference. I also use Psorisel liquid at night and that’s what really made a difference – it itches a lot less, and the scales exfoliate nicely.
