Scalp psoriasis – has anyone had remission without medication?
Has anyone managed to achieve a longer remission of scalp psoriasis without using stronger medications? I'm fed up with constant ointments and the flakes that appear out of nowhere. Sometimes I think it's finally getting better, and then a week later the flare-up is back. What have your experiences been?

·1 year agoMy breakthrough came when I went to a dermatologist who suggested light therapy and, on top of that, recommended Psorisel shampoo and lotion. I had the light treatments twice a week, and I used the products between sessions. My scalp was in really bad shape, and now for the first time in a long while I feel “normal.”

·1 year agoI managed for a few months to have no changes at all. I just stuck to a routine: gentle scalp washing, no scratching, regular sleep, zero stress (or at least less than usual). Back then I didn’t use any medications or special cosmetics. I don’t know whether it was thanks to my body or my lifestyle – but it worked. Unfortunately, then it came back again when autumn arrived and there was more stress.

·1 year agoI got the best results with a combination of two things: diet and Psorisel. I completely cut out dairy, sweets, alcohol, and on top of that I regularly used the overnight emulsion from Psorisel. The skin clearly calmed down, and my scalp didn’t itch. For washing, the shampoo from the same line. I ordered here:
