New United States tariffs

We are closely monitoring the impact of new tariffs and United States customs policies on purchasing and sales processes on eBay.
From April 3, 2025, at 12:01 AM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) buyers from the United States will be responsible for additional customs fees for most orders valued over $800 and may be asked to provide personal information to facilitate the customs clearance of their orders.
Please note that the delivery of shipments may be delayed due to the time needed for processing by US customs. eBay will continue to adjust estimated delivery dates to provide buyers with accurate delivery time estimates.
Customs and import fees are typically collected, and personal information is gathered by shipping service providers after the buyer makes a purchase on eBay. They will not be included in the prices visible to buyers on eBay.
As sellers begin to adjust to the new tariffs and customs requirements, we will take actions to protect them, including adjusting the late shipment rate when valid tracking data shows that issues were caused by shipping delays, or removing related transaction defects. We will also remove negative feedback referencing customs tariffs.
We will provide further information on an ongoing basis as we learn more about how these changes affect sales processes.
Thank you for selling on eBay.
