The internet connection can be provided by the built-in SIM card in the terminal, which means the terminal connects on its own via the mobile network without needing internet in the venue, just like a cell phone. The only requirement is sufficient mobile network coverage where the terminal is located. For terminals with WiFi, instead of a SIM card, you obviously need a working router and internet, but that depends on the selected device model. There’s no need to do any special electrical or network installations because the terminal is simply a small portable device.
