Money refunded to the buyer despite the purchased item having been delivered.
Summary: magicauto_sp_zoo started a thread about a situation in which the money was refunded to the buyer even though the purchased item had been delivered. Other participants joined the discussion, but their replies did not contain any additional content.
Dear Ebay refunded the buyer’s money because they opened a dispute saying they had not received the shipment on time.
The damn Ebay refunded the buyer for the purchase, and some 3 days later the buyer received the shipment from us, which of course they collected. The buyer does not respond to our messages, and dear `ebay screwed us over.
It blocked all channels for claims, complaints, and buyer reports on the basis of - "fend for yourselves, we don't give a damn".
Does anyone have any solution or idea for this kind of thieving behavior by Ebay?!
I would be grateful for any advice, any idea for resolving this crap. I'm out over 800,-
Has anyone considered a lawsuit against `ebay (class action) for using such thieving practices?
Best regards.

·2 years agoDo what the Chinese do. Extend the delivery time so as to completely prevent a situation like this. E.g. one month. During that month, the buyer cannot open a dispute for non-delivery.

·2 years agoI also have a similar problem. Goods delivered. I don’t have the money for the goods, there’s no item, and the buyer scammer doesn’t respond. Polish eBay also doesn’t give a damn.
I wrote to them - 3 times they said they would manually refund the money. 4 months have passed and still nothing. They keep asking for the money.

·2 years agoHi,
So I also have a problem with a dispute with eBay. Two years ago I sold a new original product to a customer from the USA. 3 weeks after receiving the package, he opened a dispute claiming that the product was lighter in the photos than in reality, attaching fake photos. eBay told me to accept the return and pay the shipping costs. The buyer demanded $700 from me, while the product was sold for $1300 with shipping included. Of course I didn't agree, which ended with support granting the buyer a refund. For the time being I disconnected my cards and account, so they didn't take money from the account, only a negative balance was created. After some time they blocked the account on the site and sent reminders. A week ago they threatened collection.
What can I do about this? I'm afraid that if they hand the case over to a debt collection company from Poland, they will file a case in court and the court will grant an enforcement clause and automatically take money from my account without my involvement.
Many thanks in advance for any advice
Tomek
