Change of account number
Change of bank account number and a blocked account because the new account has no address on the statement. An attempt to go back to the old account ended in failure. Support has completely stopped responding. 500 transactions, 3 years on the site, and 100% positive feedback. I can’t withdraw over 500 euros for items shipped. Any ideas where to report this among Polish institutions?
Thank you and best regards

·2 years agoI gave up on Ebay, a month of trying to get verified with no success at all; fortunately I only lost about 40 dollars.

·2 years agoIn this case you have to order a bank statement for yourself, one that has those details on it. They completely ignored me too and the money was blocked for a long time. At the bank something like that cost 40 zł, eBay also said they wouldn’t refund the money, that I had to pay for it myself, because right now they have this whim that you’re supposed to do what they want and that’s that. I ask by what right. They cited an EU digitalization regulation, I read it. In that point of the regulation they wrote that demanding such data should not generate additional costs. To that eBay replied that they don’t care, because now, in accordance with the new regulations, they’re like a bank and can do whatever they want (because they are a financial institution of a similar kind). Nevertheless, this type of regulation is IMO invalid because it conflicts with local law and the local constitutions of countries (jurisdictional conflicts between authorities). In such a case corporations use whatever law suits them, and if some law doesn’t suit them, they choose another law.

·2 years agoThere, on the forum, there was a post and advice on how to handle a similar situation.
You can add the address yourself to the form. You can also black out transactions if visible or other info that’s not needed
