Shipping to the USA
Hi! Are there any people here who have sent parcels to the USA and can tell me what the shipping process looks like? I’m going to list a doll and I have a choice of shipping via DHL, UPS, regular international shipping, and priority international shipping. Which of these options will be best? After making the purchase, will I get a shipping label by email, or will I have to fill in the details myself by hand? And are there any other formalities I’ll need to complete?

·2 years agoWhen listing, you can choose several shipping options for the buyer to pick from. Each option has a different cost, and it’s up to the buyer which one they prefer. For example, I offer free shipping (which positively affects the buying decision), and I build the shipping cost into the price. After the sale, you’ll get a list of carrier options to choose from, whose services you can use. Of course, it makes sense to choose the cheapest one. All of them are tracked and meet eBay’s delivery requirements, so you don’t have to worry about that. You can also address it and take it to the carrier yourself, but labels purchased through eBay come with a discount, which is an irresistible argument.
So, you print the label and send it with that carrier. Some pick up parcels from home.
You don’t have to do anything else. Any border charges such as customs duty or tax are the buyer’s responsibility in their country.
