Hello,
I was asked by Ebay to update the bank account details. The following message appeared: "Your payouts will be withheld until you update your account details. Update your information by Sep 03, 2021, to avoid further restrictions"
And this one on Ebay.com : "Your payment information is not available on international eBay sites. To view and update this information, please go to Payments on the PL site"
I already updated the account on 27.05 through micro-deposit verification.
And I'm not really sure what it's about. Maybe it's because I sell on Ebay.com and should update something in payments for international transfers?
The problem is that when I go into the settings and click update, it doesn't work. The system asks me for the account number, then the old number for verification, then the SMS code, and when I enter it I get sent back to entering the old account number.
I don't know what to do, if anyone has updated transfer details for foreign sites, please help.

I sold one White Dwarf magazine—after the sale, suddenly and out of nowhere they started demanding verification(and not before), and the money from the sale has been sitting in their account since April/May, I think....

·1 year agoFor over a year now, I haven’t been able to get my money back from this thieving fake company; no matter how many times I change and re-enter my account number, they keep sending me messages to update it again, and every so often they demand scans of my documents. This is absolutely fit for court, I don’t know how in this day and age they can use such thieving practices while hiding behind user safety... A disaster, I’m speechless

·1 year agoSergtach also won’t pay me 100 zloty for half a year now. In my opinion, they target people with such small amounts because they count on there not being a court case, and on a global scale they’ll make a little money off it. I’m honestly wondering whether some EU authority shouldn’t deal with this practice.

·5 years agoThere are problems with the update from the system side. You need to think like a machine to complete the machine’s tasks. Try this: delete the bank, account, then eBay will ask for a new one and enter it again with corrections or without them if nothing has changed. The computer will note that an update has taken place, which was the whole point, and the problem should disappear. That’s what worked for me.

·1 year agoIf I sold an item and the payout was put on hold until September 5, but then I got an email asking me to update my details and I did that, along with a bank statement plus ID. Will that hold still last until September 5, or will it be released earlier?
