Request for a recommendation for a letter shipping company from Poland to the EU, the USA, and beyond these locations
Good morning, I’d like some advice on which service providers you use when sending letters from PL abroad, e.g. to Great Britain, the USA, and other places like Scotland, Australia, etc. I’m asking because, apparently, when sending with Poczta Polska, a lot of it doesn’t arrive or takes a very long time.
I mean letters up to 500 grams max and sometimes a thicker parcel than 2 cm, but with a weight kept below 500 grams. Thanks in advance for your replies.

·9 months agofor Germany DHL - PLN 28 to a parcel locker in Germany, PLN 33 for a courier, but those prices are only for Germany and the Czech Republic; the rest of Europe for PLN 39, like GLOBAL postal service; we also have INPOST parcel lockers in France, Italy, Spain and a few others besides Germany, but those are only parcel lockers, I think you can't have it delivered to the buyer's address... I talked yesterday with someone from the post office and they supposedly believed until the very end that these regulations wouldn't come into force and everything would be normal... however, I also heard that nothing is fully certain yet and that everything can still change; I also asked our post office to provide the specific regulation/act of the Universal Postal Union from which this confusion results, but I haven't received an answer yet...

·7 months agoWhere can you send DHL for 28 zł and 33 zł? I was sending at the beginning of December, the post office refused to send a registered letter to Germany. The cheapest options for an envelope to Germany are about 70 - 75 zł at parcel points.

·9 months agodid you manage to figure anything out, total mess with this mail; how are we supposed to send this? By GLOBAL for 39zł?!

·9 months agoGlobalem can already be for 38! because they lowered the first weight bracket haha but at the same time they raised the price so it wouldn’t be too easy for us

·9 months agoGlobal Express, but not to the USA. Generally speaking, they want to ruin us. If we were farmers, we could go out into the street and set up blockades, but nobody cares about little beetles like us

·1 year agoonly Poczta Polska unfortunately in this matter, 99% of my parcels get through and if something goes missing you can file a claim and they pay about 150 PLN in compensation. Couriers are very expensive
The problem is that apparently PP is changing its rates and as of 1.01.26 you’ll only be able to send papers as a priority letter
