Hello
I have a serious problem with the buyer and with the heartless employees of ebay.com
on 1/07/13 I sold a dagger through ebay.com to the USA
I sent the dagger to the buyer on 16/07/13, because the buyer wanted to bid on a watch that I had listed for auction on ebay
so on 16/07/13 I sent the buyer the dagger and the watch, I wrote to the buyer that the items had been sent and gave him the tracking number. On 21/07/13 the buyer reported to ebay that he had not received the item, even though the items were in transit to the buyer.
On 25/07/13 the buyer received the dagger but concealed this fact from ebay and on 27/07/13 ebay closed the case against me.
Two days after the buyer received the items ebay closes the case against me.
I appealed this decision I wrote to ebay like twenty times and nothing, like a stone thrown into water, despite the evidence I presented that the buyer received the items ebay still demands a refund from me.
I described the whole situation to ebay I sent them a photo of the postal receipt and the tracking number and ebay does not respond
I ask whether such matters are handled by heartless computers or thinking people how can they, despite the evidence shown that the buyer received the items, still blindly side with the buyer. The guy concealed from ebaj that he received the items I have confirmation from the post office there is confirmation online that the guy received the package I don't know what ebay is about.
The guy cheated me and ebay has the money that ebay refunded him and my dagger and ebay is chasing me for the money back.
how is it possible for ebay to work like that that it protects only the buyer then the seller has no rights on ebay and can be cheated by the buyer, and ebay turns a blind eye to such matters. Ebay demanded a fee for the sold item, I paid them even though I did not want to do that because of their biased conduct. Now I don't have the dagger and Ebay is still demanding a refund I have emails from the buyer confirming that he received the dagger why does ebay function one-sidedly like this, I wrote to ebay that I will not return the money to them, because it is the money for the sold dagger and that I have evidence that the buyer received the dagger, of course I presented the same evidence to ebay and there is silence from ebay. ebay only demands a refund and threatens me with suspending and closing my account on ebay. I have no choice, I will have to take the case to court in the UK I would like to avoid that, but I see no other way, this monopoly is heartless and blind. Maybe someone can help me with this matter. Regards, Piotr

·2 years agoHi,
I also have a problem with a dispute with eBay. Two years ago I sold a new original product to a customer from the USA. 3 weeks after receiving the package, he opened a dispute claiming that the product was brighter in the photos than in real life, attaching fake photos. eBay told me to accept the return and cover the shipping costs. The buyer demanded $700 from me, while the product was sold for $1300 with shipping included. Of course I did not agree, which ended with support granting the buyer a refund. In time I removed my cards and account so they did not take the money from the account, only a negative balance was created. After some time they blocked the account on the site and sent reminders. A week ago they threatened debt collection.
What can I do about this? I’m afraid that if they hand the case over to a debt collection company in Poland, they will take the case to court and the court will issue an enforcement clause and automatically take the money from my account without my involvement.
Thanks in advance a lot for any help
Tomek

·2 years agoThe question is whether you are selling as a company or as a private person.
First of all, the marketplace cannot dictate to the seller how they should handle a complaint; it is up to the seller whether they accept it or not. The important thing is to describe it well.
If ebay issues a refund to the buyer regardless of your position, that’s their problem, let them refund as much as they want.
If anything comes from the court, appeal on the grounds that the claim is unfounded.
After all, practices like these can bankrupt a company. You send out goods and they refund them however they feel like, nonsense. In a Polish court they’ll lose for such practices, all it takes is a well-argued case.
