How much does 3D printing cost?
Hi,
I have an idea for a gadget but I don’t have any design, just a hand-drawn sketch. How much does the full service cost - designing it in 3D and printing a prototype? I mean something about 10 cm tall, a fairly complex shape. Is that thousands of zlotys or hundreds?

·6 months agoIf you don't have a finished design, you need to add the cost of 3D modeling. That can be 200-500 PLN depending on how complex it is. The prototype print itself is probably 50-150 PLN. So in total you can expect 300-700 PLN. Some companies offer 3D printing + design packages with execution included. Check https://druk-3d.net/ or look for 3D designers on Fiverr or Useme. If you have a good sketch, the designer will do it quickly. Sometimes it's worth making a simple model first to check the concept and then refine the details.
