ElectroG - WEEE directive in Germany

Hello, I have a bit of a dilemma regarding the WEEE directive in Germany. If we have a registered company in Poland and want to sell a product that is already registered in the EAR system (eletroG) and has its own WEEE number, do we have to register this product again in the EAR system because we do not have a company office in Germany?
I understand it this way: companies in Germany, if they introduce a product for sale that already has its own WEEE number, do not have to register it in the EAR system.
But what if the company is registered outside Germany, e.g. in Poland. Simply complying with the obligations imposed by this directive is very costly and beyond the means of small sellers.
