eBay / tax office
Hello,
I have a question - is it true that eBay is obliged to inform the tax office if a seller makes more than 30 sales in a year or for an amount exceeding 2000 euros?
Seller details, bank account number, list of transactions.
In Germany, this regulation has been in force since January 2023, and what does it look like in PL?

·3 years agoIt’s hard to figure out what the situation is in Poland, but something is happening because, for example, in the USA every auction platform in 2023 will send the tax office a report on sales exceeding $600. That’s a big change because until now the limit was $20,000.
Here’s what I found on Polish eBay:
"Paying income tax on sales on eBay
According to the law, sellers must declare and pay taxes on income from sales on eBay. We recommend consulting a tax advisor about these obligations."
