Adding a manufacturer to the auction

Do you have to input all the manufacturer's data in each listing on eBay every time? It's driving me crazy, isn't there a dropdown list where we create our database of manufacturers and then when adding a listing just select from a menu and the data fills in automatically? Is it so simple that I just can't find it?

Sells various products from different manufacturers and nowhere requires me to enter their data or even provide the manufacturer's name.
