Hello, which countries do you recommend skipping when shipping by Poczta Polska? Because often the shipment stops being tracked after leaving Poland. For example, to Australia.

·1 year agoI’ll present a subjective point of view, based on my own experience so far with e-tracking issues, mainly for registered priority letter shipments sent via Poczta Polska. To begin with, I’ll say that international e-tracking works better for parcels than for priority registered letters. Australia is really better left alone. In theory, shipments sent via Global Ekspres (GE) should be tracked, but that’s not the rule. I stopped shipping to Australia in May 2023 because one guy committed fraud, taking advantage of the lack of tracking for registered shipments (priority registered) and extorted compensation from eBay for a supposedly undelivered low-value item (I got a positive review as a reward for my silence). eBay got taken for a ride for a few dozen Australian dollars, saying it wasn’t my fault. If the item really hadn’t been delivered, I would have gotten it back through Poczta Polska because, as Albert Einstein said, nothing disappears in nature. If necessary, you can file a complaint with PP (best online, the lost item option and a request for compensation). PP is then able to obtain proof of delivery even from Zambia (I once had such a case).
Generally, it all depends on what someone sells and how badly they want to avoid falling victim to the common eBay scam of “the lost item”.
I strongly advise against doing business with Africa at all. In Asia, shipping to China and Japan by priority registered mail is safe; the rest of the continent is a risk (maybe except South Korea and Taiwan, but I haven’t shipped anything there). To South America, it’s best to send by Global Ekspres. Priority registered shipments to Canada are not tracked (GE works there), but parcel e-tracking looks good. The USA has excellent tracking for all registered shipments (including Puerto Rico, Alaska, and Hawaii). Europe is safe almost entirely (I haven’t tested Ukraine or a few smaller countries). I’d also leave the exotic countries in Oceania alone, including New Zealand. By the way, I’d like to recommend the world’s best portal for tracking registered shipments. Interestingly, it picks up all hidden stages of the journey of registered shipments, including those involving Poland (we all know how poorly this domestic e-monitoring of Poczta Polska works).
