Why isn't my item visible in search results and in the category?
Hello,
I listed 2 auctions yesterday and still can't find them in search results or categories. Did I do something wrong, or is everything just this slow here?

·3 years agoThanks, they’ve already appeared. We just had to wait a dozen or so hours. Although that’s not fair, because the 7 days given for listing gets turned into 6...

·12 years agoAfter 24 hours it should be visible, but keep in mind positioning, which depends on the seller’s performance, e.g. number of comments, sales volume, shipping time, accepting returns, accepting Paypal etc.. The Ebay you list on and the one you search on also matter. Also the number of results in the search.
Reading this thread will help regarding the visibility of auctions

From the Ebay.com rules:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/globalexposure.html
International site visibility requirements:
The international site visibility feature only appears in the Sell Your Item form if you meet the following qualifications:
You must have a verified PayPal account associated with your seller account.
Your listing must offer PayPal as a payment option.
You must have a Feedback score of 10 or more.
If you’re listing on eBay.com or eBay.ca, your item’s location country can’t be the U.K. or Ireland.
Your item must be posted in an eligible category. Ineligible categories include video games, DVDs and movies, hunting knives, auto parts, and vehicles.
You must offer shipping to the U.K., Europe, or worldwide. Specifying shipping service to these areas is highly recommended, since listings without specified shipping may be moved to the bottom of Best Match search results.
Your listing must meet all applicable country policies.
List on Ebay.com, where for a small fee the auction will be visible on Ebay in the UK. A small extra fee and a huge market

·2 years agoNo......so they’re manipulating like on Allepadalec, where once you used to buy a featured option because in the antiques section you were selling a unique item, and now you have to buy EXPENSIVE options just so your item is visible at all hahahaha There it’s not even worth listing anything for auction anymore because they also use blocks and other tricks so you’ll be screwed, and here they’re doing exactly the same thing. Only your own website and your own shop, some ads here and there to get customers.
