Does anyone happen to have a rice cooker?
Hello. Does anyone here own and use a device called a rice cooker? I’m looking for something in which you can easily and efficiently cook perfect rice/groats without having to stand there constantly and keep an eye on it. Maybe someone has a tried-and-true appliance

·5 months agoI cook rice in a stainless steel pot with a thick bottom. For 1 cup of rice, I add 2 cups of water and salt. I cook it covered over low heat. When the water is no longer visible, I turn off the gas and let it sit for a while. The type of rice is also important.
