Some time ago I created an account, verified it by providing the necessary documents, and then put my handmade items up for sale. When I added two more listings after some time, my account was permanently blocked. I never got a specific reason for the block, only these emails:
We reviewed activity associated with your account. Your account has been suspended because we believe this activity poses a risk to the eBay community. This decision was not easy for us to make. Our priority is to create a trusted marketplace where users from around the world can buy and sell safely.
The account suspension is permanent, which means you will no longer be able to buy or sell on eBay. Any other accounts created by you or associated with this account will also be suspended.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by our decision. Unfortunately, it is final and you cannot appeal it.
After asking why I was blocked and how my handmade items pose a threat to the community, I started receiving automated replies:
Your account has been suspended because it poses a risk to the eBay site and its community. Because eBay is an online company and the members of our community are our customers, we must carefully consider the risks involved in allowing users to use our site. From time to time, we find accounts that involve an unacceptable level of risk, and such accounts are suspended. Accordingly, we have decided to end our relationship. An appeal of this decision will not be possible.
Is there anything else I can do about this? I honestly don't understand this situation at all, because I wasn't doing anything strange, I only posted listings with handmade items.

·2 years agoI just came to create a topic because they also blocked my account for no reason, and when I sent them an email asking why, they wrote back that it would be in both parties' interest to part ways. But after reading this topic, I guess I have to admit they were right. It looks like eBay has gone to the dogs. Good thing there are better alternatives.

·2 years agoThe activity of ebay.pl is fit for the Police. This is a portal that extorts personal data during registration, e.g. a scan of an ID card, company details. You create an auction and then the account gets blocked. Writing to them makes no sense, because the replies are such that they do not lead to solving the problem. You keep clicking the links provided over and over, which do nothing. I advise against contacting this pseudo-portal.

I have several hundred euros blocked, and they say it’s for at least 170 days 😵

·3 years agoI've never had an eBay account, interested in international selling, I registered by providing all my personal details, linking my phone, various other accounts like Apple and bank accounts IBAN and everything else.
The same day I was blocked, because I pose a permanent threat to the world of eBay. I feel like some kind of terrorist and thug. What's more, my family is also threatened, because they are my family and all people connected with me are blocked.
If I had known that my data would be stolen in this way, I would never have registered here. I am not a lawyer, but using common sense, this definitely infringes my human and civil rights as a Pole and a citizen of the European Union. Because even a request to delete the account does not remove all personal data.
I feel robbed of my personal data and cheated out of the ability to sell/buy/use the eBay service.

·3 years agoWow, I just got info about the block today. I don’t even use this platform at all. I mean, I had an account but I didn’t make any purchases, I was just looking for music CDs.

And this line, that "We inform you that your eBay account has been permanently suspended due to activities carried out on it that pose a threat to the entire eBay community. "

·3 years agoEbay kleinanzeigen are thieves, they block all accounts and devices, totally racist. They also don’t give any reason for the ban, just meaningless fluff and the same thing over and over again. They blocked my computer, 3 phones, all my numbers, IP addresses, and without giving any reason. Thieving company policy of ebay Kleinanzeigen — this is how a German company treats Polish sellers
