Some time ago I created an account, verified it by providing the relevant documents, and then it was permanently blocked
We reviewed the activities associated with your account. Your account has been suspended because we believe these activities pose a threat to the eBay community. Making this decision was not easy for us. Our priority is to create a trusted marketplace where users from around the world can buy and sell safely.
The account suspension is permanent, which means you will no longer be able to buy or sell on eBay. Any other accounts created by you or linked to this account will also be suspended.
We are sorry for the inconvenience caused by our decision. Unfortunately, it is final and you cannot appeal it.
After I asked why I had been blocked and how my handmade items pose a threat to the community, I started receiving automated replies:
Your account has been suspended because it poses a risk to the eBay site and its community. Since eBay is an online company, and members of our community are our customers, we must carefully consider the risk involved in allowing users to use our site. From time to time, we find accounts that involve an unacceptable level of risk, and such accounts are suspended. As a result, we have decided to end our relationship with you. An appeal of this decision will not be possible.
I spoke on ebay.uk and the gentleman said that for security reasons he cannot say what the reason is. On ebay.pl they also said they had not received any information.
and here is the last email:
Thank you for contacting eBay regarding the suspension on the account. My name is Aritra, and I am glad to help you further on this.
After careful review and investigation, we regret to inform you that we can’t grant your appeal and our decision on this is final. Please understand that our top priority is to ensure that eBay remains a safe and reputable place to buy and sell.
Your account was restricted because it exhibits a risk to eBay and to its community. We're not comfortable with your selling practices or business model, and we feel they don't help to promote a positive buying and selling environment. While we understand that you may not agree with our decision not to grant your appeal, please understand that this decision is final and will not be reversed.
We have determined that it is best in our mutual interest to part ways. We regret any frustration or inconvenience this matter may cause you.
Specifically, I set up a company in Germany and spent a lot of money on it, and eBay blocked my ability to sell — what is going on here? Is this how people are treated? This is some kind of circus
