I want to buy a camera lens from Japan on Ebay. Price over $1000. Will I have to pay customs duty and VAT in Poland?

·1 year agoeBay will collect VAT, and customs duty maybe (if there’s an inspection) at the border. They’ll send you an email if anything needs to be settled, or the postman will collect it if the shipment comes by mail. The post also charges some fee for the trouble of presenting the goods for customs clearance. It shouldn’t be more than 150 zł
